21st Century Teenage Brains

Check out these sites, "Frontline, Inside the Teenage Brain" & Modern Techology Is Changing the Way our Brains Work.
Times are different and students are different. Our students have actually have different brains as a result of the electronic environment in which they are living. Many of our 20th Century tools and methods seem antiquated to them. They do not engage or prepare students - especially since some of our teaching methods and philosphies are more like they were in the 19th Century. We have to use the tools our students will need to work in the future and help them learn the problem solving and thinking skills that they will need to survive in a world that changes too fast to memorize solutions that worked in the past or even that work now! What do you think?
